It is named after the earliest Greek deity of the sky (Uranus, ???a???), the father of Kronos (Saturn) and grandfather of Zeus (Jupiter). Uranus was the first planet exposed in modern times. Though it is visible to the naked eye like the five classical planets, it was never familiar as a planet by ancient observers owed to its dimness. Sir William Herschel announces its discovery on March 13, 1781, growing the known boundaries of the solar system for the first time in current history. This was also the first discovery of a planet complete using a telescope.

Uranus and Neptune have internal and atmospheric compositions diverse from those of the larger gas giants Jupiter and Saturn.

Apple

The apple is the pomaceous fruit of the apple tree, variety Malus domestica in the rose family Rosaceae. It is one of the most extensively cultivated tree fruits. The tree is small and deciduous, reaching 5–12 m tall, with a broad, often thickly twiggy crown. The leaves are alternately set in simple ovals 5–12 cm long and 3–6 cm broad on a 2–5 cm petiole with an acute tip, serrated margin and a slightly downy underside. Flowers are produced in spring immediate with the budding of the leaves. The flowers are white with a pink tinge that steadily fades five petaled, 2.5-3.5 cm in diameter. The fruit matures in autumn, and is classically 5–9 cm diameter. The centre of the fruit contains five carpels given in a five-point star, each carpel containing one to three seeds.

The tree originated from Asia, where its wild forebear is still found today. The human body can be continued and may effectively function only within a limited range of climatic conditions such as temperature, humidity, moisture, sunlight, and amount of oxygen and pollutants in the air. Along with access to food and drinking water, the need to make places that are protected from the outdoors and where one can happily live, work, eat, sleep, have children or engage in leisurely activities has always been a top concern for humans.

A building as a security represents a physical division of the human habitat into the inside (a place of comfort and safety) and the outside (a place that at times may be harsh and harmful). Humans have a strange drive to reproduce on their lives and express themselves through art. Ever since the first cave paintings, the buildings and everything on, inside and near buildings have become objects of creative expression. In recent years, attention on sustainable planning and building practices has improved in the U.S.

Health care

Health care, or healthcare, is the prevention, treatment, and management of illness and the defense of mental and physical well being through the services available by the medical, nursing, and connected health professions. As businesses more and more twisted to teams to work on projects and to solve troubles, MBA programs have converted a huge portion of course work from individual work to teamwork. Many masters of business administration programs now contain teambuilding training as team building workshops, or as a theme in managerial performance courses. Teams are formed mainly for the reason of one project in one course or by remaining together, working on multiple courses for months. In this competitive situation of Business administration programs, the collaboration of students in team building movements is often complicated. Students that take part in team activities find that working with someone else takes up a lot of educational time.

The business fundamentals are taught in every MBA program. Economics, finance, accounting, organizational behavior, marketing, and statistics are in the basic range for master of business administration programs. In business school these subjects are considered a foundation group of courses required for each and every candidate.

These core courses make up the first year of study in a two-year full-time program. In some programs, students who have a prior background in business can by pass some or all of the core courses on the basis of either a special examination or an evaluation of the undergraduate transcript. In some programs, students who have a previous backdrop in business can go around some or all of the foundation courses on the basis of either a special examination or an assessment of the undergraduate record.

New definition of planet

International Astronomical Union proposed that the term "planet" be redefined to include other objects beyond the traditional nine planets considered a part of the solar system in the year 2006. On August 24, 2006 in Prague, in the Czech Republic the members of the IAU will vote on the proposal. They have included three planets they are Ceres which is considered as a planet, then an asteroid. The next comes the Charon previously measured as a moon of Pluto would be considered as double planet under this proposed definition. And then comes the finally discovered 2003 UB313 also named as Xena. When a company does this, it is often called a bond or corporate bank debt although 'preferred stock' is also sometimes measured to be fixed income. Sometimes people misspeak when they talk about fixed income; bonds really have higher risk, while notes and bills have less risk because these are issued by Government agencies.

The term fixed income is also useful to a person's income that does not vary with each period. These were made-up in the middle Ages by Italian grain merchants. As the Lombardy merchants and bankers grew in stature based on the strength of the Lombard plains cereal crops, many displaced Jews fleeing Spanish harassment were attracted to the trade. They brought with them antique practices from the middle and Far East silk routes. The CD, obtainable on the market in late 1982, remains the standard physical medium for commercial audio recordings as of 2007. An audio CD includes one or more stereo tracks stored using 16-bit PCM coding at a sampling rate of 44.1 kHz. Standard CDs include a diameter of 120 mm and can hold about 80 minutes of audio. There are also 80 mm discs, occasionally used for CD singles, which hold around 20 minutes of audio. Compact Disc technology was afterward modified for use as a data storage device, known as a CD-ROM, and it consist of record-once and re-writable media (CD-R and CD-RW respectively). It may be racing sailing boats, cruising to distant shores, or day-sailing along a coast.Whilst sailing's invention is prehistoric, racing sailing boats is believed to have started in the Netherlands some time in the 17th century, whence it soon made its way to England where custom-built racing "yachts" began to emerge. In 1851, a challenge to an American yacht racing club in New York led to the beginning of the America's Cup, a regatta won by the New York Yacht Club until 1983, when they finally lost to Australia II. Meanwhile, yacht racing continued to evolve, with the development of recognized classes of racing yachts, from small dinghies up to huge maxi yachts.

These days, yacht racing and dinghy racing are common participant sports around the developed world, particularly where favorable wind conditions and access to reasonably sized bodies of water are available. Most yachting is conducted in salt water, but smaller craft can be - and are - raced on lakes and even large rivers.Whilst there are many different types of racing vessels, they can generally be separated into the larger yachts, which are larger and contain facilities for extended voyages, and smaller harbors racing craft such as dinghies and skiffs.

Humans

The term conception usually refers to fertilization, but is sometimes defined as implantation or even the point at which human life begins, and is thus a subject of semantic arguments about the beginning of pregnancy, within the abortion premeditated. Gastrulating is the point in development when the rooted blast cyst develops three germ layers, the endoderm, the exoderm and the mesoderm. It is at this point that the inherited code of the father becomes fully engaged in the development of the embryo. Until this point in development, twinning is feasible. Additionally, interspecies hybrids which have no chance of growth stay alive until gastrulation. However this stance is not completely necessary since human developmental biology literature refers to the concepts and the medical literature refers to the products of commencement as the post-implantation embryo and its surrounding membranes. Throughout these periods, and until Indonesian independence, the utilization of Indonesia's wealth contributes to the industrialization of the Netherlands. Large expanses of Java, for example, became plantations cultivated by Javanese peasants, together by Chinese intermediaries, and sold on overseas markets by European merchants. Before World War II, the majority of the world's supply of quinine and pepper, over a third of its rubber, a quarter of its coconut products and a fifth of is tea, sugar, coffee, and oil. Indonesia complete the Netherlands was one of the world's most important colonial powers.

Despite increasing returns from the Dutch system of land tax, Dutch finances had been severely exaggerated by the cost of the Java and Padre Wars. The Dutch loss of Belgium in 1830 brought the Netherlands to the brink of bankruptcy, and a concerted Dutch utilization of Indonesian resources commenced. In 1830, a new governor general, Johannes van den Bosch, was selected to make the Dutch East Indies to pay their way. An agricultural plan of government-controlled forced cultivation was introduced to Java. Known as the Cultivation System (Dutch: cultuurstelsel); much of Java became a Dutch plantation, making it a profitable, self-sufficient colony and saving the Netherlands from bankruptcy. The Cultivation System, however, brought much economic hardship to Javanese peasants, who suffer famine and epidemics in the 1840s.

A Snapshot of Macro-Economics

Economics is the learning of making choices. High school and college students all over required to take economic courses in order to achieve a diploma. Why is economics so important because it provides a guide for students for real-world situations. Economics is divided into two types microeconomics and macroeconomics. Microeconomics is the study of economics at a slim level. For example absorbed on how a detailed business functions is microeconomics.
Studying the world economy is classified as Macroeconomics; its center on a much broader level. All students must understand the concept of insufficiency. Scarcity is a condition that occurs because society has unlimited wants and needs however the amount of property is limited. Unlimited wants and needs are what encourage us to create goods and services. We are never satisfied therefore we always have a want or need. On the other hand our income is limited.

Autumn in New York

It is a touching love story that stars Richard Gere as Wil, and Wynona Ryder as Charlotte. Wil, a characteristic womanizer, is introduced to Charlotte, a unique young woman, by her grandmother, whom he had known for many years, and the two are right away attracted to each other. Unfortunately, Wil’s fear of understanding and Charlotte’s terminal illness will pose grave burdens on what seems to be a growing romance. Attractively done, the movie’s plot seems to be directly associated with the changing of the seasons. The issue of time is a theme that is chronic and highly symbolized throughout the film.
The movie begins in the fall, the time of harvest, and a time to gather what you spread. Perhaps this time of the year is delegate of people’s potential to harvest what’s within, perfect for the combination of lovers. But, even though the movie is happy to be a love story, there are problems from the beginning. When Wil look at women, he sees them as acquisition.

Software

Software basically is the distinct image or representation of physical or material position that constitute configuration to or functional identity of a machine, usually a computer. As a substance of memory, software in principle can be changed without the alteration to the static paradigm of the hardware thus without the remanufacturing thereof. generally software is of an algorithmic form which translates into being to a progression of machine instructions. Some software, however, is of a relational form which translate into being the map of a recognition network.

Software is a program that enables a computer to achieve a specific task, as contrasting to the physical components of the system . This include application software such as a word processor, which enables a user to achieve a task, and system software such as an operating system, which enables other software to run suitably, by interfacing with hardware and with other software.

The term "software" was first used in this intellect by John W. Tukey in 1957. In computer science and software engineering, computer software is all computer program. The perception of reading different sequences of instructions into the memory of a apparatus to control computations was invented by Charles Babbage as part of his difference engine. The theory that is the source for most modern software was first projected by Alan Turing in his 1935 essay Computable numbers with an application to the Entscheidungs problem.

A Beautiful Island

For several people, the land in America is the beautiful place in this world. To me, the largest beautiful place I have ever been was the island of Jamaica. The fruit, flowers, and over all ordinary environment is enough to make me never want to leave. On these dates, night and day are nearly of the same length and the Sun cross the celestial equator. More technically, the equinox happens when the Sun is at one of two opposite points on the space sphere where the celestial equator and ecliptic intersect. In a wider sense, the equinoxes are the two days each year when the center of the Sun spends an equal amount of time above and below the horizon at every location on Earth. To aid installation, zero insertion force (ZIF) sockets are usually used, allowing the processor to be inserted without any confrontation, while gripping the pins firmly once the processor is in place to ensure a reliable contact. In contrast to CPU sockets, slot-based processors and CPUs use a single-edged connection rather than a socket, and slot into the motherboard on their side. Slot architectures are not often used today.

RISC (reduced instruction set computer)

In the mid-1980s to early-1990s, a crop of new high-performance RISC microprocessors appeared, which were initially used in special purpose machines and UNIX workstations, but have since become almost universal in all roles except the Intel-standard desktop.

The first commercial design was released by MIPS Technologies, the 32-bit R2000. The R3000 made the design truly practical, and the R4000 introduced the world's first 64-bit design. Opposing projects would result in the IBM POWER and Sun SPARC systems, respectively. Soon every major vendor was releasing a RISC design, including the AT&T CRISP, AMD 29000, Intel i860 and Intel i960, Motorola 88000, DEC Alpha and the HP-PA.

Market forces have "weeded out" many of these designs, leaving the PowerPC as the main desktop RISC processor, with the SPARC being used in Sun designs only. MIPS continue to supply some SGI systems, but are first and foremost used as an embedded design, notably in Cisco routers. The rest of the original crop of designs have either disappeared, or are about to. Other companies have attacked niches in the market, notably ARM, originally intended for home computer use but since focused at the embedded processor market. Today RISC designs based on the MIPS, ARM or PowerPC core are the vast majority of computing devices.

Krill fishery

Krill fishery is the commercial fishery of krill, small shrimp-like marine animals that live in the oceans world-wide. Estimates for how much krill there is vary wildly, depending on the methodology used. They range from 125–725 million tonnes of biomass globally. The total global harvest of krill from all fisheries amounts to 150 – 200,000 tonnes annually, mainly Antarctic krill (Euphausia superba) and North Pacific krill
Krill are rich in protein (40% or more of dry weight) and lipids (about 20% in E. superba). Their exoskeleton amounts to some 2% of dry weight of chitin. They also contain traces of a wide array of hydrolytic enzymes such as proteases, carbohydrases, nucleases and phospholipases, which are intense in the digestive gland in the cephalothorax of the krill.

Most krill is used as aquaculture feed and fish bait; other uses comprise livestock or pet foods. Only a small percentage is prepared for human consumption. Their enzymes are interesting for medical applications, an expanding sector since the early 1990s.

Topiary

Topiary is the art of creating sculptures using clipped trees, shrubs and sub-shrubs. The word derives from the Latin word for an ornamental landscape gardener, topiarius, creator of topia or "places", a Greek word that Romans applied also to fictive indoor landscapes executed in fresco. No doubt the use of a Greek word betokens the art's origins in the Hellenistic world that was influenced by Persia, for neither Classical Greece nor Republican Rome developed any complicated tradition of artful pleasure grounds.
The plants used in topiary are evergreen, have small leaves or needles, produce dense foliage, and have compact and/or columnar growth habits. Common plants used in topiary comprise cultivars of box, arborvitae, bay laurel, holly, myrtle, yew, and privet. Shaped wire cages are sometimes working in modern topiary to guide untutored shears, but traditional topiary depends on patience and a steady hand; small-leaved ivy can be used to cover a cage and provide the look of topiary in a few months.

Abstract art

Abstract art is now usually understood to mean art that does not depict objects in the natural world, but instead uses colour and form in a non-representational way.In the very early 20th century, the term was more often used to describe art, such as Cubist and Futurist art, that depicts real forms in a simplified or rather reduced way—keeping only an allusion of the original natural subject. The name Tanishq has been formed by combining "Ta" and "Nishk" or "Nishkh" .
Tanishq is India's largest jewelers brand with a wide range of jewelers in 22Kt pure gold studded with diamonds or coloured gems. It is the fastest growing jewelers brand in India. Tanishq, established in 1995, challenged the established family jewelers and introduced new rules in precious jewelers; a category as old as civilization. Tanishq challenged the age-old jeweler’s word with Tata's guaranteed purity. It exploded the market with facts about rampant impurity across India. It introduced technology-backed challenge in a category completely governed by individual trust. Tanishq introduced innovations like Karat meter, the only non destructive means to check the purity of gold; machine made jewelers, which offers superior finish and value to the customer and handcrafted jewelers which is influenced by various jewelers’ traditions of India.

Tanishq has set up production and sourcing bases with thorough research of the jewelers crafts of India. The 1, 35,000 sq. ft. factory is equipped with the latest and most modern machinery and equipment. The factory complies with all labour and environmental standards, located at Hosur, Tamil Nadu. The brand brings together the work of Kari gars, which specialize in different styles of making jewelers. Kari gars, who continue to be an exploited lot with other jewelers, are paid fair remuneration and work under good working conditions in Tanishq.

Point carrom

A variant often popular with children or an odd number of players. The term web cam is also used to describe the low-resolution digital video cameras designed for such purposes, but which can also be used to record in a non-real-time fashion. Web-accessible cameras typically involve a digital camera which uploads images to a web server, either continuously or at regular intervals. This may be achieved by a camera attached to a PC, or by dedicated hardware.
Videoconferencing cameras typically take the form of a small camera connected directly to a PC. It is a subset of the functions occupied in network management.

While an interruption detection system monitors a network for threats from the outside, a network monitoring system monitors the network for troubles due to overloaded and/or crashed servers, network connections or other devices.

Usually measured metrics are response time and availability (or uptime), although both consistency and reliability metrics are starting to increase popularity. Status request failures, such as when a connection cannot be established, it times-out, or the document or message cannot be retrieved, usually produce an action from the monitoring system. These actions vary: an alarm may be sent out to the resident (SMS, email etc) sysadmin, automatic failover systems may be activated to remove the disturbed server from duty until it can be repaired, etcetera. Monitoring the performance of a network uplink is also known as network traffic measurement, and more software is listed there.

Finance

Finance studies and addresses the ways in which individuals, businesses, and organizations raise, allocate, and use financial income over time, taking into account the risks entailed in their projects. The term finance means the study of money and other assets; the activity of finance is the relevance of a set of techniques that individuals and organizations (entities) use to control their financial affairs, particularly the differences between income and expenditure and the risks of their investments.

An entity whose income exceeds its expenditure can lend or invest the excess income. On the other hand, an entity whose income is less than its expenditure can raise assets by borrowing or selling impartiality claims, decreasing its expenses, or increasing its income. The lender can find a borrower, a financial intermediary, such as a bank or buy notes or bonds in the bond market. The lender receives interest, the borrower pays a higher interest than the lender receives, and the financial intermediary pockets the difference.

Finance is used by individuals (personal finance), by governments (public finance), by businesses (corporate finance), etc., as well as by a broad variety of organizations including schools and non-profit organizations. In general, the goals of each of the above activities are achieved through the use of suitable financial instruments, with consideration to their institutional setting.

Finance is one of the most important aspects of business management. In other words, to be busy is to be doing commercially viable and profitable work.

The term "business" has at least three usages, depending on the scope — the general usage (above), the particular usage to refer to a particular company or corporation, and the comprehensive usage to refer to a particular market sector, such as "the record business," "the computer business," or "the business community" -- the community of suppliers of goods and services.

The singular "business" can be a legally-recognized entity within an economically free society, wherein individuals systematize based on expertise and skill bring about social and technological expansion.

However, the exact definition of business is disputable as is business philosophy; for example, most Marxist use "means of production" as a rough synonym for "business." It consists of consistent processing elements called nodes or neurons that work together to create an output function. The output of a neural network relies on the collaboration of the individual neurons within the network to operate. Processing of information by neural networks is typically done in parallel rather than in series (or sequentially) as in earlier binary computers or Von Neumann machines. Since it relies on its member neurons together to perform its function, a unique property of a neural network is that it can still achieve its overall function even if some of the neurons are not functioning. In other words it is robust to tolerate error or failure. (see fault tolerant) Additionally, neural networks are more readily adaptable to fuzzy logic computing tasks than are Von Neumann machines.

Traditionally, the term neural network has been used to refer to a network of biological neurons. In modern usage, the term is often used to refer to artificial neural networks, which are collected artificial neurons or nodes. Thus the term 'Neural Network' has two distinct connotations:

* Biological neural networks are made up of actual biological neurons that are associated or functionally-related in the peripheral nervous system or the central nervous system

* Artificial neural networks are made up of interconnecting artificial neurons (usually simplified neurons) designed to model (or mimic) some properties of biological neural networks.

Apple Computer

Apple Computer, Inc. NASDAQ: AAPL is a Silicon Valley company based in Cupertino, California, whose core trade is computer technologies. Apple helped start the personal computer revolution in the 1970s with the Apple II microcomputer and has since further shaped it with the Macintosh. Apple is known for its innovative, well-designed hardware, such as the iPod and iMac, as well as software offerings exemplified through iTunes as part of the iLife suite and Mac OS X, its flagship operating system.

They were hand-built in Jobs' parents' garage, and it was first shown to the public at the Homebrew Computer Club. Fifty units were sold to The Byte Shop at $500 each. In 1977 Apple released the Apple II; it was accessible to the public at the first West Coast Computer Faire on April 16 and 17, 1977. By the 1980s, Apple faced rising competition in the personal computing business due to IBM's open hardware standard created with the IBM PC, which bundled Microsoft's MS-DOS. As a result Apple released the Apple III, a large failure for the company, and in 1983 released their second attempt at a business-oriented computer, the Apple Lisa.

"Wireless" factories and vacuum tubes

Marconi opened the world's first "wireless" factory in Hall Street, Chelmsford, England in 1898, employing around 50 people. Around 1900, Tesla opened the Wardenclyffe Tower facility and advertised services. By 1903, the tower structure neared completion. Various theories exist on how Tesla planned to achieve the goals of this wireless system. Tesla claimed that Wardenclyffe, as part of a World System of transmitters, would have permitted secure multichannel transceiving of information, universal navigation, time synchronization, and a global location system. The next great invention was the vacuum tube detector, invented by a team of Westinghouse engineers. On Christmas Eve, 1906, Reginald Fessenden ransmitted the first radio audio broadcast in history from Brant Rock, Massachusetts. Ships at sea heard a broadcast that included Fessenden playing O Holy Night on the violin and reading a passage from the Bible. The world's first radio news program was broadcast August 31, 1920 by station 8MK in Detroit, Michigan. The world's first regular wireless broadcasts for entertainment commenced in 1922 from the Marconi Research Centre at Writtle near Chelmsford, England.

First stamps

1847 10c, Scott #2Congress finally provided for the issuance of stamps by passing an act on March 3, 1847, and the Postmaster-General instantly let a agreement to the New York City firm of Rawdon, Wright, Hatch, and Edson. The first stamp issues of the US were offered for sale on July 1, 1847, in NYC, with Boston receiving stamps the following year and other cities subsequently. They consisted of an engraved 5-cent red brown stamp depicting Benjamin Franklin, and a 10-cent value in black with George Washington. As for all US stamps until 1857, they were imperforate. Although a number of philatelists have studied these stamps for years, much remains unknown about the facts of the original contract, design process, and the printing of these stamps.

1 cent, 1851, type IIThe post office had become so well-organized by 1851 that Congress was able to condense the common rate to three cents, necessitating a new issue of stamps. Values integrated a 1c profile of Franklin in blue, a 3c profile of Washington in red brown, a 5c portrait of Thomas Jefferson, and portraits of Washington for 10c green and 12c black values. The 1c stamp achieved disrepute, at least among philatelists, because production problems led to considerable plate modifications, and there are no less than seven major varieties, ranging in price from $100 to $200,000, and sharp-eyed collectors occasionally find the rare types going unrecognized.

Civil war
The outbreak of the American Civil War threw the postal system into turmoil. On April 13, 1861 John H. Reagan, postmaster-general of the Confederate States of America, ordered local postmasters to return their US stamps to Washington DC, while in May the Union decided to withdraw and invalidate all existing US stamps, and to issue new stamps. Associate post offices were left without genuine stamps for several months, and while many reverted to the old system of cash payment at the post office, over one hundred post offices across the South came up with their own temporary issues. Many of these are quite rare, with only single examples existing of some types. Ultimately the Confederate government issued its own stamps; see stamps and postal history of the Confederate States.

Peafowl

The peafowl are the three type of bird in the genera Pavo and Afropavo of the pheasant family, Phasianidae. They are mainly notable for the male's profligate tail, a result of sexual selection, which it displays as part of courtship. The male is called a peacock, the female a peahen. In common English usage, however, "peacock" is used to mean any peafowl.

Overview
The typical Asiatic peafowl belonging to the genus Pavo contain the familiar Indian Peafowl, Pavo cristatus and the weakly known Dragonbirds or Green Peafowl Pavo muticus. Modern lamps may also have light-sensitive photocells to turn them on at twilight and off at sunrise, or turn on automatically in dark weather. It is also not uncommon for street lights to be on posts which have wires strung between them.

History of street lighting
Today, street lighting is most usually achieved using high-intensity discharge lamps, often sodium vapor lamps. Such lamps supply the greatest amount of illumination for the least burning up of electricity.
Before the advent of high-intensity discharge lamps, street light circuits used radiant light bulbs. These were often operated as high-voltage series circuits. To avoid the problem of the entire street going dark if a single lamp burned out, each individual street-lamp was equipped with a film cutout; a small disk of insulating film that separated two contacts connected to the two wires leading to the lamp. If the lamp failed, the entire voltage of the street lighting circuit was imposed across the insulating film in the cutout, causing it to rupture. In this way, the failed lamp was bypassed and enlightenment restored to the rest of the street. The circuit usually contained an automatic device to regulate the electrical current flowing in the circuit, preventing the current from rising as additional lamps burned out and thus preserving the life of the remaining lamps. When the failed lamp was finally changed, a new piece of film was also installed, once again separating the electrical contacts in the cutout. This style of street lighting was identifiable by the large porcelain insulator that separated the lamp and reflector from the light's mounting arm; the insulator was necessary because the two contacts in the lamp's base may have routinely operated at a potential of several thousands of volts above ground/earth.
And before shining lamps, gas lighting was employed. The earliest lamps required that a lamplighter tour the town at dusk, lighting each of the lamps, but later designs employed ignition devices that would routinely strike the flame when the gas supply was activated.

Movie Camera

The movie camera is a type of photographic camera which takes a
quick sequence of photographs on film; once developed this film
can be projected as a action picture. In contrast to a still
camera which captures a single picture at a time, the movie
camera takes a sequence of images, each called a Frame. This is
accomplished through an constant mechanism. The frames are later
played back in a movie projector at a specific speed, called the
"frame rate" to give the illusion of motion. Our eyes and brain
merge the separate pictures together to create the illusion, a
phenomenon called the "persistence of vision".
Most of the ocular and mechanical rudiments of a movie camera
are present in the movie projector. The camera will not have an
illumination source and will keep its film stock in a
light-tight enclosure. A camera will also have revelation
control via an iris aperture located on the lens. Otherwise, the
requirements for film tensioning, take-up, alternating motion,
loops, and rack positioning are almost identical.

Satellite television

Satellite television is television delivered by means of communications satellites in geostationary orbit 37,000 km (22,300 miles) above the earth’s equator. The first satellite television signal was relayed from Europe to the Telstar satellite over North America in 1962. The first domestic North American satellite to carry television was Canada’s Anik 1, which was launched in 1973.
Satellite television, like extra communications relayed by satellite, starts with a transmitting antenna located at an uplink facility. Uplink satellite dishes are directed toward the satellite that their signals will be transmitted to, and are very large, as much as 9 to 12 meters (30 to 40 feet) in diameter. The increased diameter results in more correct aiming and increased signal strength at the satellite. The signal is received by transponders aboard the satellite, which retransmit the signal back to Earth at a dissimilar frequency. The leg of the signal path from the satellite to the receiving Earth station is called the downlink.
The satellite signal, quite weak after travelling a great distance (see inverse-square law), is together by a parabolic receiving dish, which reflects the weak signal to the dish’s focal point and is received, down-converted to a lower frequency band and amplified by a device called a low-noise block converter (LNB). Direct broadcast satellite dishes use an LNBF, which integrates the feedhorn with the LNB. A new form of omnidirectional satellite antenna, which does not use a directed parabolic dish and can be used on a mobile platform such as a vehicle, was lately announced by the University of Waterloo. The signal, now amplified, travels to a satellite receiver box through coaxial cable (RG-6 or RG-10; cannot be standard RG-59) and is converted by a local oscillator to the L-band range of frequencies (approximately). Special on-board electronics in the receiver box help tune the signal and after that convert it to a frequency that a standard television can use.

Studio cameras

Most studio cameras stand on the floor, regularly with pneumatic or hydraulic mechanisms to adjust the height, and are typically on wheels. Any video camera when used along with other video cameras in a studio setup is controlled by a device well-known as CCU (camera control unit), to which they are linked via a Triax or Multicore cable. The camera control unit along with other equipments is installed in the production control room often documented as Gallery of the television studio. When used outside a studio, they are often on tracks. Initial models used analog technology, but digital models are becoming more common. Some studio cameras are light and small enough to be taken off the pedestal and used on a cameraman's shoulder, but they still have no recorder of their own and are cable-bound.

Haze

Haze is an atmospheric occurrence where dust, smoke and other pollutant particles obscure the usual clarity of the sky. It occurs when dust and smoke particles build up in relatively dry air. When weather conditions block the dispersal of smoke and other pollutants they concentrate and form a generally low-hanging shroud that impairs visibility and may become a respiratory health threat. Dense haze caused by industrial pollution is also known as smog.
Sources for haze particles include farming (ploughing in dry weather), traffic, industry, forest fires and peat field fire.
Seen from afar (e.g. approaching airplane), haze is brownish, while mist is more blueish-grey. While haze is formed in somewhat dryish air, in more humid air mist is formed, and the haze particles can even act as condensation nuclei for the mist droplets.

Prism

In optics, a prism is a transparent optical element by means of flat, polished surfaces that refract light. The exact angles between the surfaces depend on the application. The traditional geometrical shape is that of a triangular prism with a triangular base and rectangular sides, and in colloquial use "prism" typically refers to this type. Some types of optical prisms are not in fact in the shape of geometric prisms. Prisms are characteristically made out of glass, but can be made from any material that is transparent to the wavelengths for which they are designed.A prism can be used to break light up into its constituent spectral colors (the colors of the rainbow). They can also be used to reflect light, or to split light into components with different polarizations.

The Great Wall of China

The Great Wall of China is a sequence of stone and earthen fortifications in China, built between 5th century BC and the 17th century to guard the northern borders of the Chinese Empire for the period of the rule of successive dynasties. Several walls, referred to as the Great Wall of China, were built since the 5th century BC, the most well-known being the one built between 220 BC and 200 BC by the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang; this wall was situated much further north than the current wall built during the Ming Dynasty, and little of it remains.
The Great Wall is one of the existing megastructure and the world's longest man-made structure, stretching over 6,352 km (3,948 miles) from Shanhai Pass in the east to Lop Nur in the west, along an arc that about delineates the southern edge of Inner Mongolia.

Constituents of sand

The most common constituent of sand, in inland continental settings and non-tropical coastal settings, is silica (silicon dioxide, or SiO2), typically in the form of quartz, which, because of its chemical inertness and considerable hardness, is resistant to weathering. Each second, more than 4 million tonnes of matter are changed into energy within the Sun's core, producing neutrinos and solar radiation. The Sun will waste a total of approximately 10 billion years as a main sequence star.
The Sun does not have sufficient mass to explode as a supernova. Instead, in 4-5 billion years, it will enter a red giant phase, its outer layers growing as the hydrogen fuel in the core is consumed and the core contracts and heats up. Helium fusion will start on when the core temperature reaches around 100 MK, and will make carbon and oxygen. While it is likely that the expansion of the outer layers of the Sun will reach the current position of Earth's orbit, latest research suggests that mass lost from the Sun previous in its red giant phase will cause the Earth's orbit to move more out, preventing it from being engulfed. However, Earth's water will be boiled away and most of its atmosphere will run off into space.
Following the red giant phase, strong thermal pulsations will cause the Sun to throw off its outer layers, forming a planetary nebula. The only object that will stay after the outer layers are ejected is the really hot stellar core, which will gradually cool and fade as a white dwarf over many billions of years. This stellar evolution scenario is typical of low- to medium-mass stars.

Public transport

Public transport, public transportation, public travel or mass transit comprises all transport systems in which the passengers do not tour in their own vehicles. Color categories and physical specifications of color are also associated with objects, materials, light sources, etc., based on their physical properties such as light absorption, reflection, or emission spectra.

Typically, only features of the composition of light that are detectable by humans wavelength spectrum from 400 nm to 700 nm, roughly are included, thereby objectively relating the psychological phenomenon of color to its physical specification. Since perception of color stems from the varying sensitivity of different types of cone cells in the retina to different parts of the spectrum, colors may be defined and quantified by the degree to which they stimulate these cells. These physical or physiological quantifications of color, however, do not fully explain the psychophysical perception of color appearance.
The science of color is sometimes called chromatics. It includes the perception of color by the human eye and brain, the origin of color in materials, color theory in art, and the physics of electromagnetic radiation in the visible range that is, what we commonly refer to simply as light.

Science

Science refers to any system of knowledge, which is attained by verifiable means. In a more constrained sense, science refers as a system of acquiring knowledge based on empiricism, experimentation, and methodological naturalism, as well as to the organized body of knowledge humans have gained by such research.

Scientists who maintain that scientific investigation must stick on to the scientific method, a process for evaluating empirical knowledge that explains observable events in nature as results of natural causes, rejecting supernatural notions.

Fields of science are commonly classified into two major lines:

Natural sciences: The study of the natural phenomena is known as natural sciences.

Social sciences: It is the systematic study of human behavior and societies.
Compared to other field of science Mathematics has both similarities and differences. Mathematics is similar to other sciences, since it is a rigorous, structured study of topics such as quantity, structure, space, and change. However mathematics is different in its method of arriving at results. As a whole mathematics is vital to the sciences and indeed, the major advancements in mathematics have often led to major advances in other sciences. Certain aspects of mathematics are very much essential for the formation of hypotheses, theories, and laws, both in describing and discovering how things work (natural sciences) and how people think and act (social sciences).

Overview of Gmat

The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is an identical assessment—delivered in English—that helps business schools assess the qualifications of applicants for higher study in business and management.
